The Peak Centre - Resources Room
- Dressing Up Stuff - three big boxes of wonderful variety.
- Worship and Christian resources - Loads of objects of religious significance ranging
from candles, crosses, hangings and communion gear to stones and icons for
meditation. We have music and words, copies of “The Source" “Hymns Old and New" “The Wee Worship Book"
Rob Bell's Nooma DVDs 1 - 23, and numerous Bible translations.
- Local information - A wide range of books on the Peak District and beyond plus the kind of
activities that happen here for those quiet (well, maybe) moments of reflection
- Bits and Pieces - Boxes of ball point pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasers,
whistles and horns, Post It notes and loads more, all in the Resources Store.
If you come from outside the UK, we even have adaptors from our square pin sockets
to your round pins!
- Music - a lightweight Yamaha keyboard + a box of music stands, the odd recorder
and many rattly, bangy things that live in the Resources Store. The disco sound system
(kept in the Boot store) can
also amplify other things like bands and movies and includes an 8 channel mixer amp,
2 radio mikes, wired mikes, stands etc..
- A Giant Jenga set
- Audio Visual equipment: Data Projector for use anywhere in the building. Two
whiteboards, pens, flip chart pads (check availability)
and a box of clip boards.
- Walk Route Cards - short, medium, long and night walks. Tell us if you want a route
we haven't done yet and we'll do it.
