Events and Courses
The Peak Centre welcomes those who wish to deepen and enrich their faith (whatever that faith may be). Some will wish to conduct their own retreats and events, whilst others may wish to join the ones that we run. The Peak Centre links with the Youth Office of the Diocese of Derby in running events specifically for young people and youth leaders from parishes in the Diocese of Derby. Sometimes we are able to make places available to others, so do please enquire.
AND SOMETHING ELSE . . . If you have an idea for an event at the Peak Centre that would scratch where you itch, email, phone or write and we'll do what we can (Sometimes we need a bit of lead time to find an available weekend or week).

An opportunity for young people aged 12-17(ish) to spend
part of the half term learning new things and ways to do worship as well as
relaxing together.

KEEPING IN TOUCH WITH GOD (KITWG)
A unique chance for like minded young christians from the Derby Diocese to enjoy each others company in community at dedicated weekends in Edale, to learn more of God, share experiences and have some fun at the same time.
6-8th January 2012 (18-25 years)
12-14th October 2012 (11-15 years)
26-28th October 2012 (15-18 years)
THEY THINK IT'S ALL OVER (TTIAO)
This weekend is pure therapy for overworked brains and stressed out, sleep deprived bodies that are aged 15-23 years and have just finished exams. (Non-exam people can still apply)

THE NEXT STEP (TNS)
This weekend is a post confirmation event. You should receive an invitation if you are aged between 11 and 16 years and have been confirmed since October 2011. If you are in that age group and didn't (oops, sorry!) or if you were confirmed earlier in 2011 and didn't get invited to The Next Step 2011, please email Alistair Langton, our Youth Adviser, with your name, age, parish and contact details and we will send you an invitation to come this time.
